Tim Egan Receives Support from Ed Burke and The Burnham Committee


Edward M. Burke, Dean of Chicago ’s City Council and Chairman of the Finance Committee, has given a contribution on behalf of The Burnham Committee and offered his support for Tim Egan, candidate for Democratic Committeeman of the 43rd Ward. Edward M. Burke helped organize the Burnham Committee in 2002.  The Committee strives to realize Daniel H. Burnham’s vision for a great future for the City of Chicago by contributing to the brightest “Civic Minded” political leaders of tomorrow.

Tim Egan's candidacy for Chicago’s 43rd Ward Democratic Committeeman received the endorsement of Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, former 43rd Ward Alderman Edwin Eisendrath and the Chicago Fire Fighters Union Local 2.

“Tim Egan is a worker,” Secretary White said, “and he will help rebuild an inclusive and impactful Democratic organization.”

“Tim ran an honorable and positive campaign for 43rd Ward Alderman in 2007,” Edwin Eisendrath said. “He showed an ability to build relationships and displayed a desire to participate in good politics which leads to good government.” Read more!
